About your Head Golf Professional.
Michael Herzog was born and raised in Moorhead, MN, and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in coaching. Herzog has been working in the golf business, teaching the game to thousands of golfers at all ability levels for nearly 25 years.
He became a PGA Member in 2009, working at various top clubs in the country. After relocating to Bismarck, North Dakota, in 2013, Herzog had the opportunity to work with the Dakota Junior Golf Association as executive director, teaching instructor, and tournament director for junior events. He also served as a collegiate golf coach for Bismarck State College and helped operate and teach at Golf Etc. in Bismarck.
Most recently, Herzog was the Head Golf Professional at Hawktree Golf Club and Men’s Golf Coach at the University of Mary before pursuing his true career passion for teaching and promoting the game of golf through the Michael Herzog Golf Academy. Currently, he is the Head Golf Professional at Painted Woods Golf Course.
Michael is happily married to Stacy with three children, Madison, Ian, and Mackenzie.
JUNIOR LESSONS
- Junior Lessons (17 and Under) $60. Lessons are 30 to 45 minutes.
- Series of Four Junior Lessons $225. Lessons are 30 to 45 minutes.
- Series of Six Junior Lessons $300. Lessons are 30 to 45 minutes.
- 9-Hole Junior Playing Lesson $100. 9 Holes with instruction – 2hrs.
- 18-Hole Junior Playing Lesson $200. 18 Holes with instruction – 4hrs.
Rates for GROUP INSTRUCTION – Prices below for a series of 2 lessons
- 2 Juniors: $55.00 per person.
- 3-4 Juniors: $45.00 per person.
- 5-6 Juniors: $35.00 per person.
ADULT LESSONS
- Adult Lessons (18 and Older) $100. Lessons are 45 minutes.
- Series of Four Adult Lessons $380. Lessons are 45 minutes and include: Irons, Woods, Chipping, and Putting.
- Series of Six Adult Lessons $560. Lessons are 45 minutes and include: Grip, Aim, Set-up, Motion, Irons, Woods, Chipping.
- 9-Hole Adult Playing Lesson $150. 9 Holes with instruction – 2hrs.
- 18-Hole Adult Playing Lesson $300. 18 Holes with instruction – 4hrs.
