Wednesday Game Day

The following information explains how our Wednesday Game Day works. You can make tee times from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. You will register for the events and games in the golf shop before teeing off and must play with a partner for scores to qualify. Guests are more than welcome to participate in our weekly game. Guests will need a handicap. If they do not, they’ll play off scratch. Scores not turned in the same night will not be accepted.

For 2026: The top 3 individuals who earn the most prize money throughout the season will earn the following: 1st Place- $200; 2nd Place- $150; 3rd Place- $100, in golf shop credit.

DATES: May 6th to September 30th, 2026. (Every Wednesday)

ENTRY FEES: $5.00/per game; cash only. All prize money will be paid in golf shop credit and applied to your account.

HANDICAPS AND TEES: Course Handicaps are off the current GHIN revision. The Course Handicap Table will determine your course handicap for the tees you select to play.

Men: (59 and under): Gold Tees
Men: (60-69): White Tees
Men: (70+): Blue Tees
Women: Bue Tees

RESULTS: Results will be posted on Golf Genius, our Tournament Board (located outside the Golf Shop), and our Facebook page the following day. Rules: All USGA Rules of Golf apply to game day events. If you pick up on any hole, you are no longer eligible for any individual games. You will then take an “X” on that hole for the game being played. You still must record a score for handicap purposes according to the USGA handicapping procedures by using equitable stroke control (ESC).

Consistent Wednesday Games:

NET SKINS: $5 fee. Net Skins, the player with the lowest net score for that hole wins.

GROSS SKINS: $5 fee. Gross Skins: (with validation) The player with the lowest gross score for that hole wins. The player must follow up with their potential skin, with a gross par or better on the next hole.

DEUCE POT: $5 fee. Any player who makes a “2” on any hole will win the pot. The amount paid will be based on the total number of deuces made that day. Multiple deuce pots will be split. Gross scores only.

CLOSEST TO PIN: $5 fee. Closest to the pin contest on all five par 3 holes. The five winners will split this pot.

EVEN PAR: $5 fee. Final score on the last three holes (16-18) must equal 12 or better. Gross score.

Optional or Additional Thursday Games:

INDIVIDUAL LOW GROSS: $5 fee, The Individual with the lowest Gross score wins.

INDIVIDUAL LOW NET: $5 fee, The Individual with the lowest Net score wins.

50/50 DRAWING: $5 fee, ½ of the Pot goes to the winner in cash; remaining ½ goes to the Painted Woods Junior Golf Ambassador program.

Registration: (Every Wednesday) will take place in the golf shop. Play well, have fun, and respect the golf course and your competitors.
